You're not imagining it. Your body is wise. It's recognizing the poison of scarcity-based business tactics - and it's rejecting them.
This rejection isn't just personal preference. It's spiritual discernment. It's your soul recognizing that these approaches are antithetical to everything you're trying to create in the world.
And every time you choose differently - every unfollow, every "mark as irrelevant," every firm "no thank you" - you're doing more than protecting your peace.

The Matrix of Extractive Business
Let's name what we're dealing with.
There's an entire ecosystem of business built on scarcity, manipulation, and extraction. It's the MLM-adjacent coaching world that has infected every corner of entrepreneurship with its toxic tactics:
The artificial urgency designed to override your intuition.
The income screenshots meant to trigger your shame.
The "if you're not uncomfortable, you're not growing" mantras that gaslight your nervous system.
The love-bombing followed by aggressive sales pitches.
The shame-based marketing that tells you you're broken and they're the cure.
The fake vulnerability that's actually just another sales tactic.
This is the Matrix of business - a system designed to extract your energy, your money, and your power while convincing you it's for your own good.
These tactics work because they hijack your nervous system. They trigger your survival responses, your fear of being left behind, your deep wounds around worthiness and belonging.
But here's what your body knows that your mind sometimes forgets: anything built on manipulation will eventually collapse. And you don't have to participate in its construction.
The Ick Is Intelligence
That ick you feel is not you being "negative" or "resistant to growth" (and even if it is, so what?). More than likely, it's your inner wisdom recognizing energetic poison.
Your nervous system can detect the difference between someone who wants to serve you and someone who wants to use you. Between someone offering genuine value and someone dangling a carrot to extract your credit card information.
The ick is intelligence. It's your soul's way of saying: "This is not aligned with who we are becoming."

Beyond curating your social media feed, this is about conscious participation in the collective shift happening in how business is done.
The Golden Tapestry Principles
What we're choosing instead is the Golden Tapestry - a way of doing business based on regenerative principles rather than extractive ones.
In the Golden Tapestry:

❛ Success isn't a zero-sum game where someone has to lose for you to win.
❛ Marketing is about connection, not manipulation.

❛ Community is built on authentic resonance, not manufactured belonging.
This isn't utopian thinking. This is nature-al thinking, the Original Way.
The Purging Process
What we're witnessing - and what you're participating in every time you choose differently - is a collective purging.

But we see this for all it is - an extinction burst before the full dawning of a new way.

Where the ick becomes obsolete because there's nothing to be ick-ed out by.
