The Backstory // Edi Oduraa

Our founder thinks about homes often. Cozy homes. Cluttered homes. Spacious homes. Sterile homes. The spaces people inhabit so intimately have always drawn her in.

Her path here wasn't linear. It was built through the messy, beautiful reconstruction of her own life. An engineer by degree, a systems builder by necessity, and a survivor of massive awakening in her 20s, she learned early that stability and soul-alignment are not opposites—they are dance partners.

Her journey continued in the trenches of the trades. In 2019, on the cusp of COVID shut downs, she co-founded Logs to Lumber, a residential tree service, guiding it from concept to crossing the half-million mark in revenue within three years.

As the business scaled, Edi faced a challenge familiar to many micro-teams: finding reliable, affordable office support that wouldn’t drain resources or require constant retraining.

After several non-starters, the turning point came when she hired and trained her first Ghanaian administrative specialist. The shift was immediate and profound. This specialist brought time-zone flexibility that extended the business day, an attainable salary structure that didn't strain overhead, and a level of dedication that allowed Edi to finally step out of the daily grind. That specialist still works with Edi today, a testament to the power of the model.

This experience crystallized Edi’s mission: to make that same relief and opportunity accessible to other design-forward founders. She realized that the right global partnership could solve the dual problem of operational burnout for the founder and economic stagnation for the talent.

Edi's work is the embodiment of that belief—a bridge connecting beautiful businesses with beautiful people, built on the understanding that when we invest in human dignity across borders, everyone rises.
