If you’re like me (and the others who reached out to me about this post), you’re no stranger to seasons of feeling conflicted about showing up online - particularly Instagram.
The algorithm is forever throwing a fit.
Character limits are shorter than desired.
Attention spans are short.
Reach seems lower.
There’s no shortage of ways in which being on Instagram can feel itchy.
But, if you still feel like Instagram is where you want to market your business online, I encourage you.
Continue to show up.
Free yourself from the prison of perfectionism around it.
When we run heart-centered businesses, there can be so much meaning behind everything we do ~
our signature process,
our client experience
the words on our website.
It can feel overwhelming to try and encapsulate all these things that make us special and stand out from other practitioners.
Guess what -
we don’t have to.
We don’t have to convey every single little thing we feel sets us apart. This compulsive desire to provide information and cover all our bases is exhausting.
If you find yourself struggling to create and post because it feels incomplete or not as weighty as you like it, I encourage you to release it anyways.
Tweak as you go along, but shun the path of perfectionistic freeze.
