Do You Want to be Rich or Right?
Do you want to be right or do you want to be rich?
I first heard this phrase in a business cohort at the start of 2023, and it hasn’t left me since.
Another version more resonant to the mystic founder is:
Do you want to be insistent on being understood or do you want to have impact?
Are you so hungry to see people free,
bring your services to the world,
and be financially supported by what you do
that you’re willing to allow our assumptions and beliefs to be challenged and changed?
Because, both certainty and growth cannot coexist indefinitely. Holding fast to the comfort blanket of the same approach will stifle the expression of your next level.
This is a delicate balance, especially for a person who has often found themselves on the fringe and dancing in the gray. (Not you, at all, right? 😉).
We, by no means, want to conform, dim our magic or detach from God’s guidance.
AND we need to honestly look at the ways - big and small - our own insistence on being right and maintaining the status quo are hindering us from creating and receiving what we say we desire.
This can look like posting content that is drenched in esoteric, confusing language that only a niche group (which aren’t even your ideal clients) can understand.
This can look like not creating structure around following up with interested people because it feels “inorganic”.
This can look like insisting the copy on your website and Instagram bio don’t matter because it’s all about “resonance”.
The way to break the spell of right-ness?
Curiosity.
What if.
What if saying this clearer brings in more clients?
What if investing in structure expands, not constricts me?
What if there are other ways to solve this problem?
“What if” cracks us right open and invites us to disentangle from our ego and step into our CEO essence - this critical identity essence that strikes a balance between embodying our unique flair while remaining in service to those we are called to.
So, friend - do you want to be right or do you want to be rich?

If this transmission stirred something in you, there’s more where that came from.
I write love letters for the femme founder wanting to build her business empire with clarity, precision and clarity.
