The Path to Your Empire Is Paved With Cringey Moments
The last thing my perfectionists want to hear.
For the foundress navigating greater visibility - embrace the mess.
The inevitable mistakes.
The cringey gaffes.
It can feel fatal when we think about it, but deep-rooted confidence is ultimately built by action. By doing the damn thing - crying through the growth and realizing the result is so very much worth the angst.
I think about mistakes I’ve made along the way and it makes my skin prickle.
I’ve had a client block me after I ended our engagement (I learned how to better vet who I said yes to as a consultant from that).
I’ve projected my own fears and compulsions on clients (😮💨)
I’ve done podcast episodes that the host hasn’t posted.
I’ve offered services I’ve had no business offering at price points that made no sense.
I’ve iterated, refined and back-tracked publicly numerous times.
I’ve talked and posted about stuff that I had not integrated or embodied (and it showed).
And it was all very necessary and all very non-fatal.
The world needs you and your message - the impact is worth the gaffes (I believe).
The income you’re welcoming in is worth the mess.
And, in fact, they demand it.
The path of experimentation, play and child-like willingness to look the fool is the road to your empire.
May we walk it faithfully.
In service,

If this transmission stirred something in you, there’s more where that came from.
I write love letters for the femme founder wanting to build her business empire with clarity, precision and clarity.
